Toulouse was founded in 1989 to celebrate Mardi Gras with the renowned Gumbo Pot Restaurant in the Los Angeles Farmers Market. It was to be a one shot deal, but it was too good to stop there. The band had the credentials to call itself the premiere New Orleans Rhythm and Blues band working in the Los Angeles area. Leader Steve Allen has recently relocated to Northern Louisiana and recreated the band with all top Louisiana musicians. |
