Miki Honeycutt
is the most righteous female R +B and rock singer anywhere
near here. She and
A-Train dominated the area for 10 years
performing from 1977-87. They were one of the most popular live
acts in Louisiana and Texas in the mid 80s and played Los
Angeles several times, ventured up the East Coast and into
Canada. They were a “cult band” in Nashville, with Music Insiders
attending their shows there. Locally they are best remembered
for their many, many nights packing the infamous Shreve Square
venue “Humpfrees”. Miki guest stars these days with
The Bluebirds, A-Train and others, as well as working with her own all star group for wedding receptions and high profile events.
Miki has done extensive recording, had her own releases including great originals written by David Egan and Buddy Flett
Had a top 100 BILLBOARD pop hit in 1977, "Make up for Lost Time"

And check out some things that people have said about Miki:
"She sings Bonnie Raitt, Irma Thomas, Etta James, and even Aretha in her own world class way" -John Lomax III, Music City News, Nashville
"Hers is a voice that should be insured by Lloyds of London" - Dallas OBSERVER
