Friday, October 13, 2006 in Shreveport, LA, Chase Bank Stage.
Ask ANYONE that saw this show last Friday, it was packed and
everyone was dancing and screaming.
Miki Honeycutt female vocalist; John Howe, saxophones
and vocals; Buddy Flett guitars and vocals; David Egan
keyboards and vocals; Bruce Flett bass and vocals; Paul Griffith drums
This group dominated the area in their nearly 10 years of
performing from 1977-87. They were one of the most popular live
acts in Louisiana and Texas in the mid 80s and played Los
Angeles several times, ventured up the East Coast and into
Canada. They were a cult band in Nashville, with Music Insiders
attending their shows there. Locally they are best remembered
for their many, many nights packing the infamous Shreve Square
venue Humpfrees. They reissued their four albums on CD
format ,and have sold well locally. Volume 1 contains the first
and second albums and Vol 2 contains Live at Humpfrees and
River of People. A Train will be performing original songs
from these CDs/albums along with their locally famous Motown" .
